2 slices sourdough bread

2 eggs

1 tbspn butter

METHOD

1.  Have your 2 slices of  bread ready. Whisk 2 eggs in a flat bowl.  Heat a large frypan and put in the butter.  Now place one side of the bread in the egg mix.  Make sure the egg is covering the surface of the bread. Now turn the bread over and egg the other side.

2.  Place the egged bread in the frypan and cook for about a minute until golden brown.  Now turn over the bread and do the other side.  Place on serving plate and do the other bread slice.   Dust with icing sugar.

3.  Place on a serving plate with a dollop of  cream or sour cream and have Caramel Sauce to pour over.

Variations:  When you take the slice of bread out of the frypan dip into a shallow bowl of 4 tbspn of sugar mixed with 2 teaspn of cinnamon.
