Unfortunately I am $1.30 over in my shopping list this fortnight.  I did find I had too much bacon and ham, so you could cut back the bacon by 1/2 a rasher and the ham by a small amount.

This fortnight we are concentrating on two items – a loaf of sourdough bread and a dozen eggs – and seeing what we can do with them.   We are taking a more healthy approach, so all the dairy products will be low fat.

Unfortunately I couldn’t get a rye sourdough loaf so had to stick with white, but you could try to see if you could get one of the wholefood varieties.

As a special treat we are including a special low-cost St Valentine’s Day Menu for $17.20 for 2 people that you might like to include.
