1 egg

1 cup plain flour

1/2 tspn baking powder

1  cup yoghurt

1/2 cup milk

butter for frying

1.  Place flour in a medium bowl.  Make a depression in the centre of the flour.

2.  Crack an egg into the centre of the bowl.  Add 1 cup yoghurt.  Add baking powder on top of the yoghurt.

3.  Gradually mix the yoghurt/egg mix into the flour starting at the centre and gradually moving outwards.

4. Add milk until you get the right consistency for you.

5.  Allow to stand for 5 minutes then pour about 1/2 a cupful into a medium hot pan.  Flip when small bubbles appear in the top of the pancake.

They are cooked when golden brown on both sides.

Serve with jam, maple syrup or lemon and sugar.
