1.  Take eggs out of refrigerator and get them to room temperature.

2.   Put eggs in a saucepan and just cover them with cold water. Place on hotplate or burner on high and bring to the boil.  Start to time them from when they start to boil.  Time them to 3 minutes.  Once they boil for three minutes, take them off the heat and put the lid on the saucepan.  Leave the eggs for another 8 minutes.

3.  After this time, place the pot of eggs under a cold running tap and then let them soak for about 2 minutes.

4. Place them in the refrigerator for 1 hour before peeling.
