YOGHURT DRESSING

4 tbspns plain yoghurt

1 tbspn lemon juice

1 tspn sugar (or to taste)

cracked black pepper if you have it

METHOD

  1. Place yoghurt and lemon juice in a small screw top jar.  Shake vigorously.  Keep surplus in the refrigerator after using.

Versions:  If you don’t like yoghurt, add 2 tbspns of creamy mayonnaise to the yoghurt dressing for a more subtle taste.

Curried Yoghurt Dressing add curry powder to taste.

Mango Mint Dressing. Add some mango chutney and some mint to make an Indian styled dressing.

Mustard-Yoghurt Dressing. Add Dijon mustard, some chopped parsley and chopped fresh chives

    I love yogurt dressing but haven’t try the one with black pepper before. This sounds very interesting. I will try it on my salad sometimes.
